The September 1 edition saw a 527-player field and a three-way tie at 10/11, with Hans Niemann claiming first on tiebreaks ahead of Jan-Krzysztof Duda and Alexey Sarana; Wesley So, Vincent Keymer, Awonder Liang, Oleksandr Bortnyk, and Denis Lazavik rounded out the top eight. Recent weekly results highlight consistent performers such as Duda (multiple 2026 wins), Sarana, and Arjun Erigaisi, alongside occasional strong showings from Magnus Carlsen, Hikaru Nakamura, and Alireza Firouzja. The return of live broadcasts and the larger prize structure increase visibility and motivation for titled players seeking CCT points or outright victories in the 11-round Swiss format.
