The resolution source for this market will be official information from FIFA; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The 2026 FIFA World Cup's Golden Ball race remains tightly contested early in the group stage, with Lamine Yamal leading at 13.5% implied probability followed closely by Kylian Mbappé and Michael Olise near 11% each. Spain and France, the pre-tournament favorites, feature multiple standouts whose deep runs and standout contributions in attack heavily influence trader consensus. Yamal's breakout form with Barcelona and Spain, Mbappé's proven World Cup pedigree including prior final heroics, and Olise's rising trajectory at Bayern Munich create overlapping narratives. Additional contenders like Harry Kane, Vinícius Jr., and Pedri keep probabilities bunched, as the award hinges on a blend of individual output, team advancement, and momentum shifts across the expanded 48-team field.
