Haiti enters the 2026 World Cup in Group C alongside Brazil, Morocco, and Scotland, a matchup widely viewed as one of the tournament’s most challenging draws. Ranked around 83rd by FIFA and returning to the competition for the first time since 1974, the team faces opponents with far superior depth, recent high-level experience, and stronger attacking options. Morocco’s semifinal run in 2022 and Brazil’s perennial contender status create a steep climb for points, while Scotland adds another competitive European side. Trader consensus reflects these structural gaps, pricing a group-stage exit near certainty despite Haiti’s successful qualification campaign. Realistic paths to later rounds would require multiple upsets, favorable results among the group’s top sides, or significant injuries to key opponents, none of which align with current form or historical benchmarks for CONCACAF underdogs in this setting.
