This market will resolve to “Yes” if any team fails to score a single goal across all of its matches in the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. Goals scored in regular time, stoppage time, and extra time count toward a team's total. Goals scored in a penalty shootout do not count. Own goals scored by a team's opponents do not count toward that team's total. If the 2026 FIFA World Cup is cancelled, postponed after August 2, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or it cannot be determined whether a team failed to score within that timeframe, this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from FIFA; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The expanded 48-team format of the 2026 FIFA World Cup heightens the likelihood of at least one side finishing scoreless in the group stage, as reflected in the 83.5% implied probability for Yes. Multiple debutants and lower-ranked qualifiers from weaker confederations enter groups alongside elite defenses, limiting their chance creation against organized back lines and strong goalkeepers. Historical patterns from prior tournaments confirm that underdogs routinely fail to register a goal across three matches when drawn into tough sections, with recent qualifying results underscoring wide gaps in attacking quality and set-piece execution between top and bottom seeds.
