This market will resolve “Yes” if the listed nation advances to the Knockout Stage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed nation to advance to the Knockout Stage (e.g. they are mathematically eliminated), the associated market will resolve to "No". If the 2026 FIFA World Cup competition is cancelled, postponed after July 12, 2026, 11:59 PM ET or the 2026 FIFA World Cup Round of 32 matchups have not been declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “No”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from FIFA; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The expanded 48-team format for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with 12 groups of four and 32 sides advancing (top two per group plus the eight best third-placed teams), shapes early trader focus on group standings and tiebreakers like head-to-head results, goal difference, and goals scored. Opening matches on June 11, including Mexico versus South Africa and South Korea versus Czechia, provide the first data points on form and momentum. Host nations benefit from home support and favorable scheduling, while traditional powers like Argentina, Brazil, France, and Spain enter with strong squad depth. Key variables include confirmed lineups, injury reports from national team camps, recent Nations League or qualifier results, and potential travel or altitude effects across North American venues. Group stage results through late June will drive the sharpest probability shifts.
