Bay Area Breakers and Palm Beach Royals enter the MLP New York event at even implied odds, reflecting closely matched team DUPR ratings and roster depth in a format emphasizing multiple doubles disciplines. The Breakers carry a 3-10 record and mid-tier standing but benefit from prior event experience across Dallas, St. Louis, and Austin stops. As a 2026 expansion side, the Royals have integrated high-profile additions including Tyson McGuffin and Dekel Bar, posting competitive early results in Columbus and St. Louis group play despite road-only scheduling. Recent form, travel demands, and official lineup releases ahead of June 25-28 matches could shift sentiment by clarifying availability and stylistic matchups in men's, women's, and mixed doubles.
