Malcolm Todd's "Earrings" holds the strongest market-implied odds for the #2 U.S. Spotify song the week of August 28, reflecting its consistent top-three daily chart presence and sustained streaming momentum into late August. Recent daily data shows the track holding steady behind Ella Langley's "Choosin' Texas" while outperforming Steve Lacy's "Oh Yeah?" and Tame Impala's "Loser," supported by cumulative streams exceeding 579 million and historical peaks at No. 1 earlier in 2026. Traders appear to discount lower-probability contenders like Olivia Rodrigo's tracks and Ariana Grande's single given their current lower positions and lack of recent surges. The market's many 50% outcomes underscore uncertainty around midweek fluctuations ahead of the final chart lock, with any late promotional pushes or viral spikes as key swing factors.
