Recent model consensus from sources including the Servicio Meteorológico Nacional and international forecasts indicates southerly cold air advection and high pressure will limit Buenos Aires maximum temperatures on September 6 to around 9–10°C under clear skies, following a sharp drop from 17°C on September 4. Radiative cooling overnight and brisk winds enhance the chill, consistent with early-spring climatology for the region. Traders have priced 11°C as the modal outcome at 50% implied probability, likely reflecting minor model spread or localized urban effects, while lower probabilities on 12°C+ align with the strengthening cold front and absence of warmer return flow. Updated short-range guidance and official observations will resolve the market.
