Recent National Weather Service and ensemble model guidance for Los Angeles International Airport indicates an overnight low of 64–67°F on September 22, driven by persistent marine layer influence, light southwest winds, and patchy morning fog that moderates radiative cooling. This aligns with late-September climatology near 63°F and recent observations showing similar mid-60s minima under comparable clear-to-partly cloudy conditions. Trader emphasis on the 66–67°F bin at 60% reflects model consensus and low expected variance absent a stronger offshore flow or anomalous warming event, with any significant revision likely tied to the next NWS update or observed trends through September 21.
