Multiple songs trade near or at 50% implied probability to claim the number two spot on US Spotify charts for the week of August 21, underscoring an unusually open race. Traders are weighing streaming velocity, playlist placement, and fan engagement across releases from Steve Lacy, Tame Impala, Ella Langley, Ariana Grande, Malcolm Todd, and Olivia Rodrigo. Differentiating factors include each track’s recent daily stream trends, genre listener overlap, and any late promotional spikes that could shift final tallies. With the tracking period still active, incremental updates through the weekend remain the primary swing variable before the chart locks.
