Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” maintains overwhelming trader consensus at 97.3% implied probability for the Billboard Hot 100 dated August 29 because the country crossover smash has already logged 17 weeks at No. 1 through mid-August, securing the fourth-longest reign in chart history. Sustained streaming volume above 24 million weekly and growing radio audience impressions continue to outpace competitors, including new Ariana Grande and Morgan Wallen tracks that sit in the top five but lack comparable momentum. Historical precedent favors long-running leaders unless a blockbuster debut arrives in the final tracking days. An upset remains possible only if a major surprise release posts unprecedented first-week consumption that displaces the incumbent before the chart locks.
