Mercedes’ commanding early-season form under the 2026 regulations has shaped the current trader consensus, with the team holding a commanding points lead in the constructors’ standings after multiple Grand Prix wins. Strong results from drivers Kimi Antonelli and George Russell, paired with effective adaptation to revised power-unit and aerodynamic rules, have created a significant advantage over Ferrari and McLaren. Recent race outcomes and development pace continue to reinforce this gap, while other constructors trail further behind in both qualifying and race-day execution, limiting realistic paths to the title.
