Scottie Scheffler’s commanding eight-shot victory at the just-completed FedEx St. Jude Championship has reinforced his position atop the FedEx Cup standings and fueled his lead in the overall playoffs market. His season-long consistency, combined with strong recent scoring and ball-striking, positions him ahead of a tightly grouped field that includes Rory McIlroy, Cameron Young, Sam Burns, and Tommy Fleetwood. McIlroy’s disappointing finish in Memphis highlighted vulnerability for even established contenders, while players such as Hideki Matsuyama, Ludvig Åberg, and Collin Morikawa remain within realistic range entering the BMW Championship at Bellerive. Multiple events remain, with substantial points available and historical precedent for late surges in the three-tournament playoff format, sustaining competitive pricing across the top dozen names.
