Recent National Weather Service and private model guidance for Atlanta on September 6 centers on a high near 96–97°F amid lingering late-summer warmth and a weak frontal boundary that could trigger afternoon showers or thunderstorms. This consensus underpins the market’s heaviest weighting on the 96–97°F bin, with secondary support for 98–99°F if skies remain clearer and heating peaks higher. A modest 18 percent probability on 94–95°F reflects the chance that earlier or more widespread convection limits the daily maximum. Heat-index values near 100–103°F are expected, but resolution hinges strictly on the official maximum temperature recorded at the Atlanta Hartsfield station. Updated NWS forecast discussions and morning model runs on September 5 will provide the final inputs before resolution.
