The Odyssey leads trader sentiment at 68.5% implied probability due to its July 2026 release and rave reviews for Hoyte van Hoytema’s groundbreaking all-IMAX cinematography, which delivers tactile, large-scale visuals that align with historical academy preferences for technical ambition in epic narratives. Early precursor buzz and Nolan’s track record amplify momentum, while Dune: Part Three at 8% reflects anticipation for its December 2026 arrival and established franchise craft despite limited current visibility. Films like Digger, Project Hail Mary, and Werwulf sit lower as traders weigh unproven release timing and guild signals ahead of the 2027 ceremony.
