Ugo Humbert, the fifth seed and world No. 33, meets compatriot Benjamin Bonzi, currently ranked around No. 95-99, in the second round of the Libema Open on grass. Humbert received a first-round bye, while Bonzi advanced through qualifying and defeated Mees Rottgering in straight sets to reach this matchup. Bonzi holds a 2-0 head-to-head edge, though both prior encounters occurred on indoor hard courts in 2022. Humbert’s stronger overall ranking and experience contrast with Bonzi’s recent momentum on the surface, where grass-court movement and serve effectiveness often shape outcomes in ATP 250 events. No reported injuries or late changes affect either player’s availability.
