The 2026-27 Ligue 1 runner-up market reflects a tightly bunched field behind overwhelming title favorite Paris Saint-Germain, with Lens, Lyon, Brest, and several others clustered near 45-47.5% implied probability. Lens enters as the strongest challenger after finishing second in 2025-26 with 70 points and claiming the Coupe de France, while Lyon returns to European contention and Lille, Marseille, and Monaco retain solid squads despite key departures. Brest, Rennes, and others benefit from recent consistency and limited European distractions early in the campaign. Pre-season transfers, squad depth, and fixture congestion will likely determine which side pulls ahead in a season projected to feature minimal separation among mid-tier contenders.

If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the Ligue 1; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
