Recent forecasts from multiple models indicate a notable cooldown in Ankara on September 14, with daytime highs expected near 26–27°C after several days above 30°C, aligning closely with the market’s tight 26°C (42%) and 27°C (37.5%) odds. This shift stems from evolving synoptic patterns, including increased northerly or westerly flow introducing cooler, drier air masses typical of mid-September climatology in central Anatolia. Consensus across sources like PredictWind, Yr, and Met Office highlights minimal cloud cover and light winds, supporting a clear diurnal maximum but leaving room for minor variance from local topography or exact timing of peak insolation. With no precipitation or significant moisture advection forecast, traders weigh subtle differences in model resolution of afternoon heating against historical September baselines around 25–28°C.
