Recent Met Office and ensemble forecasts indicate a peak of 24–25°C in London on September 3 under mild southwesterly flow and variable cloud cover, driving the market’s tight clustering around those outcomes. High pressure maintains settled conditions with limited daytime heating, while wind speeds near 10–15 mph and possible afternoon breaks in cloud introduce small uncertainty in the exact maximum. This aligns closely with early-September climatology (historical average high ~21–22°C) but reflects the current warm anomaly. Traders weigh model consensus against potential revisions from overnight updates, as resolution hinges on verified observations rather than projections.
