Latest forecasts from multiple models point to a daytime high of 25–26°C in Mexico City on September 3, aligning with the closely matched market-implied odds of 38–40.5% for those outcomes. Early September rainy-season conditions—frequent afternoon cloud cover, scattered thunderstorms, and moderate humidity—limit solar heating and keep temperatures near the historical average high of 23–24°C at the city’s 2,240 m elevation. Minor variations in model runs stem from differences in predicted cloud thickness and precipitation timing, which can shift the peak by 1–2°C. Updated National Meteorological Service guidance and refined model outputs expected later on September 2 will likely refine these probabilities ahead of resolution.
