Recent short-range forecasts from sources including the Turkish State Meteorological Service and European models indicate overnight lows near 11–12°C in Ankara on September 8, driven by clear skies promoting radiative cooling and a northerly flow advecting cooler continental air. This aligns with a cooling trend observed since early September, when daytime highs dropped from the low 30s°C to the mid-20s°C. Historical September minimums average around 14–15°C, placing the current outlook slightly below normal. Market-implied odds favoring 9°C or below reflect trader assessment of model spread and potential for stronger cooling if winds weaken overnight, while probabilities clustered near 11–12°C capture the consensus central tendency ahead of final verification.
