**Persistent warm, humid conditions driven by typical late-summer southeast flow and thunderstorm activity are keeping overnight lows elevated in Miami, aligning with the market's tight clustering around 78–81°F.** Forecasts from multiple sources (including NHC-influenced regional guidance) project a low near 80°F for September 3, with partly cloudy skies, southeast winds of 5–10 mph, and showers or storms likely in the evening that limit radiational cooling. Dew points remaining in the mid-to-upper 70s further suppress temperature drops. This pattern matches climatological norms for early September, where average lows hover near 77°F but frequently run warmer under moist tropical air masses. The near-even split between the 78–79°F (38%) and 80–81°F (39.5%) bins reflects model uncertainty in exact overnight timing of cloud cover and precipitation, while lower-probability tails capture potential for stronger cooling or persistent warmth. Traders are weighting official forecast consensus and recent model runs showing stable steering patterns through the period.
