Seattle Mariners hold a narrow edge in AL West standings at 36-33 after an 11-3 stretch in their last 14 games, while the Orioles sit at 32-37 and fourth in the AL East. Recent interleague series action at Camden Yards featured split results, with Seattle winning tight contests via late home runs from Randy Arozarena and Josh Naylor, offset by Baltimore’s 7-2 blowout powered by strong starts from Brandon Young and returns of catchers Adley Rutschman and Samuel Basallo. Both clubs face roster challenges, including Mariners catcher Cal Raleigh’s oblique strain and shortstop J.P. Crawford’s hand issue, alongside Orioles pitching absences such as Chris Bassitt’s back tightness. Pitching depth, bullpen reliability, and home/road splits will shape outcomes in the upcoming Seattle rematch.
