If Anthropic and OpenAI’s combined valuation is equal to Google’s public market capitalization at resolution, this market will resolve to 50-50. Revisions to previously published NPM data made after their initial release will not be considered, unless made to correct clearly erroneous data.Alphabet's current market capitalization of roughly $4.5 trillion substantially exceeds the combined post-money valuations of OpenAI ($852 billion from its March 2026 round) and Anthropic ($965 billion from its May Series H), creating a wide gap that underpins the 75.5% market-implied odds favoring Google at year-end. Strong recent earnings, Google Cloud momentum, and AI infrastructure investments have supported Alphabet's share price stability amid elevated Treasury yields and sector volatility, while the private AI labs' rapid valuation gains reflect funding inflows rather than proven public-market multiples. Key catalysts through December include potential IPO filings and debut pricing for OpenAI and Anthropic, which could narrow but are unlikely to close the differential absent outsized multiple expansion or Alphabet-specific weakness. Trader consensus prices in these structural disparities with real capital at risk.
