Recent polls show the Parti Québécois leading with roughly 30 percent support ahead of the October 5 vote, positioning CAQ and PLQ in a near-tie for second at around 23 percent each while the Conservative Party of Quebec sits close behind. This configuration makes third place highly contested among the CAQ, PCQ, and PLQ, consistent with market prices clustering near 40-45 percent for those three options. The campaign launch this week, new leadership for the CAQ and PLQ, and voter focus on cost of living, health care, housing, and provincial autonomy add volatility, as regional strengths and potential vote consolidation among francophone and non-francophone blocs could shift final rankings. Low single-digit support for QS and PVQ leaves little room for them to challenge the top contenders under current trends.
