The Miami Marlins visit the Pittsburgh Pirates for a three-game series at PNC Park beginning June 12, 2026, with both clubs hovering near .500. The Marlins sit at 34-35 and fourth in the NL East, while the Pirates hold 35-33 and third in the NL Central. Miami’s 11-19 road mark stands out against Pittsburgh’s stronger 19-16 home record. Probable starters include Marlins right-hander Sandy Alcantara, who has thrown seven innings in each of his last two outings with wins, and Pirates right-hander Braxton Ashcraft, seeking to rebound after allowing six runs in five innings against Atlanta. Pittsburgh’s lineup has been without center fielder Oneil Cruz, placed on the injured list with hand fractures, while recent multi-homer output from Tyler Callihan has provided offensive sparks. Weather and bullpen usage will also factor into late-inning decisions.
