The New York Yankees enter this AL East series at 41-26, holding second place with a potent lineup and strong recent form despite placing Aaron Judge on the 10-day injured list with a rib stress fracture and Giancarlo Stanton also sidelined. Toronto sits at 33-36 in third, showing improved home results but facing pitching and consistency challenges. Probable starters include Yankees left-hander Ryan Weathers against Blue Jays right-hander Trey Yesavage, whose recent decision to push back his turn adds rest but tests Toronto’s rotation depth. Key factors for traders include the Yankees’ offensive firepower even without Judge, bullpen reliability, and how the Blue Jays exploit home-field advantages at Rogers Centre amid their divisional push.
