The Circuit Gilles Villeneuve's tight chicanes, minimal runoff areas, and iconic Wall of Champions continue to drive a strong likelihood of on-track incidents during the 2026 Canadian Grand Prix. Recent seasons have seen multiple safety car deployments at this venue, often triggered by spins or crashes in high-braking zones amid tire wear and variable Montreal weather. With 2025 and 2024 races both featuring full safety cars amid similar conditions, trader consensus reflects the track's proven history of disrupting clean running, though modern car regulations and improved track limits could temper the frequency compared to prior years.
