Recent median home value data for the San Francisco metro area, including Zillow indices near $1.42 million for the city proper and broader Bay Area figures around $1.2–1.3 million as of July 2026, anchor trader sentiment toward the sub-$1.198 million range. Persistent low inventory, AI-driven wealth effects boosting luxury demand, and constrained supply continue to support prices, yet moderating year-over-year gains and typical seasonal patterns through late summer point to limited upside by September 30 resolution. Market-implied odds reflect this balance, with higher bins priced at single-digit levels amid uncertainty over mortgage rates and tech employment trends.
