Miomir Kecmanovic enters as the higher-ranked contender at No. 70 against Leandro Riedi's No. 128 in the Valencia Challenger round of 16 on outdoor clay, where Kecmanovic boasts a stronger career win rate of 59% compared to Riedi's 52%. Both advanced from first-round wins yesterday—Kecmanovic in straight sets over Nicolai Budkov Kjaer (6-4, 6-4) and Riedi rallying from a set down against Juan Carlos Prado Angelo (6-7, 6-1, 6-3)—building on recent clay exposure from Rome, where Kecmanovic reached the second round before falling to Andrey Rublev. With no head-to-head history, stylistic matchup favors Kecmanovic's experience in this ATP Challenger 175 event amid the European clay swing, though Riedi's momentum adds upset potential absent any injury concerns.
