Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” commands overwhelming market-implied odds for the Billboard Hot 100’s top spot the week of October 3 because the track has posted unmatched multimetric dominance since its February 2026 ascent, logging 22 non-consecutive weeks at No. 1 through mid-September while leading streaming, radio airplay, and sales tallies. Its crossover country appeal, bolstered by co-writer Miranda Lambert’s involvement and steady radio rotation, has outpaced typical seasonal challengers. New releases from Ariana Grande, Morgan Wallen, Taylor Swift, and Stella Lefty sit well behind in current tracking. An upset would require an unprecedented late-September surge in streams or sales from a major competitor, something the song’s entrenched metrics have repeatedly overcome.
