In Georgia's 3rd congressional district, a strongly Republican-leaning seat, trader consensus at 95.5% for an outright first-round winner reflects the district's consistent partisan patterns and limited competition. Republican nominee Brian Jack holds a dominant position following the May 2026 primaries, where Democrat Maura Keller advanced as the main challenger but trails significantly in available indicators. Georgia's runoff rule requires a majority in the November general election, yet historical margins in this district routinely exceed 50% for the GOP candidate. Factors supporting high implied probability include low Democratic turnout expectations, absence of major scandals or candidate withdrawals, and standard campaign dynamics. Late developments such as an unforeseen controversy or unusually high opposition mobilization could theoretically force a December runoff, though these remain low-probability events based on current conditions.
