Rockstar Games locked in a November 19, 2026 release for Grand Theft Auto VI following its November 2025 delay announcement, citing the need for extra polish, with pre-orders opening in June 2026 and an Extended Look trailer set for August 27. This firm date, backed by Take-Two Interactive's public statements and active marketing push, has driven the market's strong "No" consensus at 91.5% implied probability, as traders see little room for another shift with the launch window now under four months away. Historical patterns show Rockstar prioritizes quality over deadlines, yet the absence of fresh development setbacks or internal signals supports current sentiment. A last-minute crunch or unexpected technical issues could still force reconsideration before the console launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

This market will resolve to "Yes" if by November 19, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, Rockstar Games or its parent company, Take-Two Interactive, officially announces that Grand Theft Auto VI will not be released by November 19, 2026, or if Grand Theft Auto VI is otherwise not released in the US by November 19, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. For the purposes of this market, "release" refers to the game becoming publicly available for purchase or download in the US. Early access, beta versions, other forms of pre-release availability, or leaks will not count as an official release. If the release is only for certain consoles (e.g. Xbox Series X/S) it will count.
The resolution source will be official information from Rockstar Games or its parent company, Take-Two Interactive; however a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
