The 2026 K League 1 season remains tightly bunched after roughly 22-23 matches in the pre-split phase, with FC Seoul atop the table on 47 points and a cluster of sides separated by just a handful of points for second place. Ulsan HD sits closest in the standings with strong recent results and goal difference, supporting its narrow lead in trader consensus at 50.5% implied probability for runner-up honors. Daejeon Hana Citizen, Jeju SK, Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors, and others trail within striking distance amid balanced schedules, home/away splits, and no dominant form stretch from any contender. This competitive parity, combined with rule adjustments on foreign players and substitutions, keeps the race wide open into the second half of the campaign.
