Arsenal enter the 2026-27 Premier League as defending champions with notable stability under Mikel Arteta and fresh midfield reinforcement in Bruno Guimaraes, positioning them as clear title favorites. This leaves the runner-up race tightly bunched among Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool, and Chelsea, each navigating managerial transitions—Enzo Maresca at City, Andoni Iraola at Liverpool, and Xabi Alonso at Chelsea—alongside squad adjustments following mixed prior campaigns. Manchester United’s improved late-2025/26 momentum adds further competition, while broader Big Six depth and fixture congestion heighten outcome variability in a season defined by adaptation rather than established hierarchies.
