**Recent price stabilization and mild downward pressure on sealed First Partner Illustration Collection (Series 1) boxes have driven the strong trader consensus favoring a decline by August 31.** Released in March 2026 as the launch product for Pokémon’s 30th anniversary, Series 1 initially commanded premiums well above its $14.99–$21.99 MSRP thanks to nostalgia for Kanto, Sinnoh, and Alola starters and the chase Illustration Rare promos. However, TCGplayer market data shows the product trading near $61–$63 in mid-to-late August after earlier highs in the mid-$70s, reflecting broader cooling in secondary-market demand once Series 2 (June) and Series 3 (August) entered circulation and increased overall supply. With no major promotional catalysts or chart spikes expected before month-end, traders view the near-term trajectory as flat-to-down absent unexpected collector buying.
