This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 American League Comeback Player of the Year award for the 2026 MLB Season. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Trader consensus on the AL Comeback Player of the Year remains tightly contested with Adley Rutschman, Jonathan India, Anthony Santander, Kristian Campbell, Gerrit Cole, and Anthony Volpe clustered at 46-48% implied probabilities, reflecting a fragmented field of rebound candidates from injury-plagued or down 2025 seasons. Rutschman's recent hot streak—.304/.360/.565 slash with improved OPS+ of 160—has edged him ahead after a post-All-Star slump last year, while Yordan Alvarez powers the pack at .321 AVG, 14 HR, and 1.072 OPS amid health concerns. Zack Gelof's .270 mark with five homers and a May 14 blast add momentum, but Gerrit Cole's impending late-May return from Tommy John recovery and Mike Trout's steady .914 OPS (11 HR) introduce upside uncertainty. Early-season volatility and small samples keep the race wide open for roster health, sustained production, and voter narratives on bouncebacks.
