The Atlanta Braves (46-25) enter this home series against the San Francisco Giants (29-43) with the best record in baseball and a strong 22-11 mark at Truist Park, while the Giants sit 16.5 games back in the NL West. Atlanta’s lineup features consistent power from Matt Olson and contributions from Michael Harris II, though key absences include Ronald Acuña Jr. and longer-term injuries to Spencer Strider and others; rookie JR Ritchie takes the mound on June 17 opposite Giants left-hander Robbie Ray. San Francisco has shown late-inning offensive bursts recently, including a 10-run rally in one contest, but continues to battle multiple injuries to position players and starters such as Heliot Ramos and Tyler Mahle. The Braves’ superior depth and home advantage shape current market positioning ahead of the series.
