The 2028 US Presidential Election is scheduled to take place on November 7, 2028. This market will resolve to “Yes” if the person who wins the 2028 US Presidential Election is a woman. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. The resolution sources for this market will be the Associated Press, Fox News, and NBC. This market will resolve once all three sources call the race for the same candidate. If all three sources haven’t called the race for the same candidate by the inauguration date (January 20, 2029) this market will resolve based on who is inaugurated.**Trader consensus assigns roughly 75% probability against a woman winning the 2028 presidential election**, reflecting an unsettled Democratic primary alongside a Republican field anchored by male frontrunners. Early positioning shows Kamala Harris and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez as the primary female contenders on the Democratic side, yet recent polling averages and prediction markets highlight rising support for men including Jon Ossoff, Gavin Newsom, and Pete Buttigieg. Gretchen Whitmer’s decision to forgo a run has further narrowed visible female options. On the Republican side, Vice President JD Vance and figures such as Marco Rubio maintain strong early positioning. Post-2024 electability concerns and the absence of a dominant female favorite across both parties continue to shape market pricing ahead of formal declarations and the 2026 midterms.
