Recent polling averages for Berlin’s September 20 state election place Die Linke at 19–22 percent, consistently ahead of Bündnis 90/Die Grünen at 16–17 percent. Linke support has risen sharply from its 12.2 percent result in 2023, driven by gains among left-leaning and protest voters, while the Greens have remained largely flat. The CDU’s mid-July candidate switch to Stefan Evers produced a modest rebound for that party but left the Linke–Grüne margin intact. A recent power-grid incident attributed to left-wing activists produced no measurable shift against Die Linke in subsequent surveys. With roughly four weeks until the vote and no scheduled events expected to alter the relative standing of the two parties, trader pricing reflects the sustained polling gap between them.
