Diogo Costa leads trader consensus at 56% implied probability for most clean sheets in the FIFA World Cup 2026, fueled by Portugal's dominant UEFA qualification campaign—including a recent 9-1 thrashing of Armenia where he started—and his club-record 22 clean sheets for FC Porto this 2025/26 Liga Portugal season, highlighted just three days ago. A tight cluster around 45-46% for Yahia Fofana (9 clean sheets leading CAF qualifiers for Ivory Coast), Mohamed El-Shenawy (7 for Egypt), Lawrence Ati-Zigi (Ghana), and Ørjan Nyland (Norway) reflects their strong defensive showings in regional qualifiers against weaker opposition, positioning them well for group-stage shutouts in the expanded 48-team tournament amid broader market recognition of defensive solidity ahead of the June kickoff.
