Trader consensus on Polymarket reflects evenly distributed implied probabilities across Q1 comparable store sales growth buckets for Ross Stores (ROST), signaling high uncertainty ahead of the May 21, 2026 earnings release. This positioning stems from the company's March guidance of 7%-8% comp growth—bridging the 6%-8% and 8%-10% ranges—issued after a blowout Q4 2025 with 9% comp sales rise, 12% total sales increase to $6.6 billion, and 12.3% operating margin. Off-price peers like TJX and Burlington posted strong Q4 comps amid value-driven consumer shifts, but intensifying competition for branded closeouts and traffic creates swing risk. Analysts maintain buy ratings with $200-$245 price targets, watching store traffic momentum and 110 planned 2026 openings as key differentiators.
