**Strong critical and audience reception following its wide theatrical release on October 23, 2026, has anchored trader sentiment around a high Rotten Tomatoes score for *Wicker*.** The fantasy romance comedy earned Certified Fresh status quickly, with the Tomatometer holding in the low-to-mid 90s (93–95% from 100+ reviews) thanks to praise for Olivia Colman’s lovable lead performance, Alexander Skarsgård’s charming wicker-husband portrayal, seamless creature effects from Wētā Workshop, and the film’s salty humor and tender romance. Audience scores have matched or nearly matched critics at 92–94%, setting a career high for Skarsgård and reflecting broad appeal for the quirky, raunchy fable. Momentum from its January 2026 Sundance premiere carried through positive first reviews and a modest $5.7 million opening weekend. With the UK release arriving October 30 and further theater expansion, additional reviews could test whether the score sustains above key thresholds or dips slightly on volume.
