Germany enters the 2026 FIFA World Cup as the overwhelming favorite to win Group E, reflecting its status as a four-time champion, top-10 FIFA ranking, and deep squad featuring talents like Jamal Musiala, Florian Wirtz, and Kai Havertz under Julian Nagelsmann. Traders price this heavily due to the team's historical pedigree and the mismatch against debutant Curaçao, whom Germany faces first on June 14. Ecuador sits second in implied probability thanks to its elite defensive record from CONMEBOL qualifying and proven ability to compete in major tournaments, positioning it well for a potential second-place finish ahead of Ivory Coast. The Elephants carry momentum from their recent AFCON title but face tougher tests in a group where only the top two (plus select third-place teams) advance. Curaçao's minimal odds stem from its limited experience and resources as the smallest nation ever to qualify. With matches beginning in days across U.S. and Canadian venues, these probabilities capture pre-tournament consensus on squad quality, recent form, and historical patterns.
