Both Ukrainian table tennis players compete regularly in the Setka Cup, a high-volume daily league where matches often hinge on current form, serve consistency, and quick adaptation to opponents' styles. Polysynskyi recently secured a 3-0 win over Dmytro Kim in early August, while Fomin has struggled with consecutive losses, including 1-3 and 2-3 defeats in mid-August. Their June 2026 encounter saw Fomin prevail 3-2 in a tight five-setter, underscoring close head-to-head dynamics. Key upcoming factors include any short turnaround between matches, which can affect recovery, and how each player's recent point-winning efficiency translates in direct competition. Trader consensus in such markets typically reflects these form streaks and prior results rather than long-term rankings.
