Recent polls ahead of Quebec’s October 5 election show a fragmented race, with the PQ leading provincewide at 28–30% while the CAQ has surged to within a statistical tie in the latest Synopsis survey. The PLQ has slipped to around 20–23%, retaining strength on Montreal island but weaker francophone support elsewhere. The PCQ holds steady near 14–16%, performing better in the Quebec City region. These trends, combined with regional divides and early-campaign volatility, leave traders assigning the highest implied probability for third place to the PLQ, followed by the CAQ and PCQ. Shifts in francophone turnout or further consolidation among non-sovereigntist voters could alter the order before election day.
