A candidate may win the election “outright” in the first round by winning more than 50% of the valid votes in the first round. This market will resolve to “Yes” if any candidate wins the 2026 midterm Georgia Senate election outright in the first round. Otherwise, it will resolve to “No”. If the results of the first round of the specified election are not known definitively by March 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "No". This market will resolve based on the results of this election as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the state electoral authority responsible for certifying the results of the Georgia Senate election.Incumbent Democratic Sen. Jon Ossoff faces Republican Rep. Mike Collins in Georgia’s November 3, 2026, U.S. Senate general election, with a December 1 runoff required if no candidate secures a majority. Recent polling averages show Ossoff ahead by margins of 4 to 13 points, positioning the race as competitive yet with the leading candidate frequently projected above 50% once minor candidates and undecided voters are accounted for. The Republican primary process concluded with Collins securing the nomination, consolidating GOP support behind a single challenger. This two-candidate dynamic, combined with Georgia’s polarized electorate and historical patterns in Senate contests, underpins trader consensus that an outright first-round winner remains highly probable, though late campaign developments or turnout shifts could still alter the final margin.
