Trader sentiment for Houston's September 6 low temperature centers on uncertainty in overnight radiational cooling amid typical late-summer Gulf Coast conditions, with forecast models showing minor spreads in expected dew points, wind speeds, and cloud cover that differentiate the tightly bunched 74–79°F outcomes. High humidity and light southerly flow limit temperature drops, while clearer skies or subtle frontal passages could allow slightly stronger cooling into the low 70s. NOAA guidance notes historical early-September minima averaging near 75°F, with current model consensus reflecting these baselines but diverging on precise boundary-layer mixing. Updated local observations and evening model runs will clarify thresholds before resolution.
