Recent National Weather Service and NOAA model consensus for September 11 points to northwest winds and clearing skies after a warm period, supporting overnight lows in the mid-to-upper 60s at Central Park, near the historical September average of 63°F. Persistent warmth from recent days, with minimums mostly in the 60s, and the urban heat island effect contribute to market-implied odds favoring 70–71°F at 48% and 72–73°F at 31%, reflecting trader assessment of limited radiational cooling under the expected conditions. Key resolution factors include the official daily minimum at the primary NYC station, with potential for slight upward revisions if winds remain light or cloud cover lingers longer than modeled.
