Drake’s surprise May 15 release of *Iceman* alongside two companion projects has anchored trader sentiment around the 450k–550k equivalent-album-unit range, with the 500k–550k bracket holding a narrow edge. Industry trackers such as Hits Daily Double cite early streaming velocity and bundled consumption that support a 480k–520k debut, while the triple-album strategy and ongoing post-release promotion sustain momentum toward the higher end of that window. Historical precedent from Drake’s prior big drops shows first-week numbers often settle near or slightly above initial projections once full streaming and sales data lock in, keeping the two central brackets closely contested ahead of the Billboard 200 chart update.
